Blithe Spirit Cast

Bill Angelo (Charles)
has previously appeared on the Lago Vista
stage in Rumors and Born Yesterday
and he designed the set for Nunsense.
He is also the treasurer of the Players. He
began acting and designing with the Denton
Community Theatre. Bill and his wife Julie
moved to Lago Vista when Bill became
Director of Public Works for the City of
Lago Vista three years ago. He enjoys
gardening, watching the Cowboys, and the
antics of their 3 dogs and 3 cats.

Summer Lyn
Bryant (Ruth) recently joined the
Players. This is her first
performance since graduating from UT
Austin with a BA in Theatre and
Dance a year ago. She was previously
in the Liberty Hill Community
Theatre where she played a
challenging role of a male
investigator in a wheelchair in an
original play. She enjoys composing
songs on her piano & giving music
lessons. Summer recently married
Stephen Hamende, a talented
musician. |

Shanin Smith (Elvira) has been with the
Players for one year and played Cassie
Cooper as her first role in the Players’
production of Rumors. She serves on
the Board as well as volunteers on various
Players projects. She lives in Lago Vista
with her husband, Trey, and two handsome
boys, Bailey, 9, and Carter, 2.

Shamay Mansfield
(Madame Arcati) is performing for the first
time since the ninth grade. She joined the
Players to become involved in the community
since she and her husband, Jay, have only
lived in Lago Vista for one year. Shamay is
a surgical nurse with an Austin agency and
works all over Austin.

Patrick Molloy (Dr. Bradman) has appeared on
the Lago Vista stage in Rumors, Born
Yesterday, Café Noir, and Auntie Mame.
He was recently elected to the Board of the
Players. He previously performed with
theatre groups in Westchester, NY and Tampa,
FL. Pat is now retired - “Thank God” he
says, because he doesn’t “have time to hold
a real job.”

Saundra Smith (Mrs.
Bradman) played the part of Mona in the
Players production of Give My
Regards to Broadway and Deirdre in the
Players production of Waiting in the
Wings. Her life currently revolves
around her five year old granddaughter,
Taylor.

Kim Hibbert (Edith)
studied theatre arts in high school, but
much to her theatre teacher’s dismay,
pursued her “first love” Art. She is married
to Richard Hibbert. Kim and Richard are Lago
Vista business owners and parents of 15 year
old twin boys.

Julie Angelo (Director) is directing her 4th
show for the Players. She previously
directed and designed for Denton
Community Theatre and theatres in
Bryan/College Station. Julie is
Executive Director of the American
Association of Community Theatre.
